who you really are...
Personality: Chesh is a very caring person, she tries to help anybody who her path crosses. She helped poor little alice along her path when she came to wonderland. Chesh will not go out of her way to help someone though. If she happens to cross paths with you and you need help then and only then will she help you out. Or if you go up to her and ask her for help then sure she will help you. She loves cats and her old home back in wonderland. There she was able to disappear and reappear anywhere she wanted. She loves having her head on her shoulders no matter what form she has. Living in wonderland with the red queen was scary for her liking her head. She does like to dance in her human form because its how she got used to walking on two legs, instead of floating around. She is a thief no matter what book you put her in. It was easy for her to steal things back in wonderland but she used to steal for good. Coming to storybrooke she did not like not having magic very much. She is still very confused about everything and the limits to her "powers"

History:
Chesh was of course from Wonderland. She hung out with the mad hatter and everyone there. The mad hatter and the march hare were her best friends. When the mad hatter first was born she was just a little kitten becoming a cat. She grew to become the mad hatter's best friend as he grew up slower then everyone in the enchanted forest and all of that. When Chesh hit 18 in mortal years she stopped growing as a cat. It was just how the magic around her worked out. Staying with the mad hatter was fun especially when they would have tea together. She didn't have a crush on him or anything, how could she. Chesh was a cat of all things. When alice came to Wonderland and grew close to the mad hatter, Chesh didn't know how she felt about that. Meeting alice on the road was not something she knew would affect her later on.
"If you don't know where you want to go. Then it doesn't matter which path you take." Was something she said to the little lost girl. Chesh did help Alice on her way to finding the queen which Chesh thought was weird. She did take little Alice to the mad hatter hoping that she would change her mind. Sadly not and the mad hatter felt the need to help her. Even though Chesh tried to tell him not to help the little girl he still did. After she left things went back to normal until the mad hatter found out that his hat could travel between realms. So on the first trip through that hat Chesh asked to go with Jefferson. When they made it to the enchanted forest Chesh was no longer a cat instead a human girl with colorful hair. She didn't understand nor did the mad hatter. The enchanted forest could not have a flying cat wondering around the place so it made sure to make Chesh into a human girl.
Jefferson helped Chesh learn how to walk and make sure she could stand on her own. The whole time they were there she never once left his side. In that trip was when she started to like the mad hatter. She didn't know how he felt seeing as a week ago she was just a flying cat with a big smile. On their trip she meet some of the fairy tale creatures but she tended to hide her face in a hood so that way nobody questioned her hair or anything. She stayed behind Jefferson and let him do the talking all the time. Soon the Evil Queen crossed their path and they had to leave. Going back to wonderland Chesh was back to being a flying cat like she used to be. She was really happy but Jefferson looked really sad about it. He would stay in wonderland for a week and then would go back to the enchanted forest for a few weeks. During this time Cora became the red queen and started to want people's heads who disobeyed her. So Chesh made sure to stay out of the way so she wouldn't get under Cora's skin.
The last time Jefferson left for the enchanted forest Chesh asked if she could go with and he said yes with a smile almost as big as her's. Chesh did not know that he had a daughter from one of his journeys. The enchanted forest of course gave her clothes that would match where they were. So she had her hooded cloak from her first journey and like before, she kept it on her head at all times. Jefferson showed Chesh to his daughter and she was automatically jealous of who ever her mother was. Chesh and Jefferson's daughter became fast friends and at one point her hood came off of her head and Jefferson's daughter asked why her hair was colored. She tried to explain that she was a cat back in her actual land but it just confused the little girl. When the curse came for everyone Chesh was in the enchanted forest. She was scared for the first time in her life and held onto Jefferson when it came.
She forgot everything about her life before the curse and was given new memories. Her name was, Julie Nightcat, and she was an orphan who volunteered at the pet hospital. Her parents died when she was very little and she was given to a family to be taken care of. She turned 18 and left that family so she was living on her own. She didn't know who Paige was, or Jefferson; the only thing she knew were the memories that were given to her. When Emma came and broke the curse the first thing she did was try to find Jefferson. When she found him he was with his daughter but she called his name and he turned around with a smile on his face. The whole time she was in storybrooke she never once saw him so she ran into his arms hugging him. She cried happy tears because she had her friend back and now she was happy. She was still confused as to why she couldn't be a cat but there was no magic still in this world. Chesh moved in with Jefferson because she did not want to be alone after the curse broke.
When Rumple brought magic back she still was not a cat but she found out that she could be invisible. She couldn't travel like before but it was something. Jefferson told her that the hat no longer worked and it made her upset that she could not go back home but she was with her friend. Living in this strange world was very weird and she didn't understand it. She tried to talk to people and make friends but everyone was very worked up. So she stayed with Jefferson and her feelings for him got deeper than she wanted them to get. She could never tell Jefferson though about her feelings because she was confused about them.
